A boundary is not a wall. It is a door with a lock. You choose when to open it. Saying "no" to something you do not want is not unkind. It is clear. People who respect your boundaries show you who they are. People who do not also show you who they are.
- A boundary can be about time ("I can't talk right now"), space ("please knock before coming in"), or feelings ("I don't like being teased about that").
- Practise setting a small boundary this week. Notice how it feels.
