GL-00042Rule

Do not text in all caps (it reads as shouting). Reply within a reasonable time. Think before you screenshot a private message. These are not rules from a book. They are agreements being written in real time by the first generation to grow up online.

  • Tone is hard to read in text. What sounds funny in your head can read as mean on someone else's screen.
  • Before sending, read your message as if someone you respect would see it. If it changes, that is the edit.
