Unlike a playground, the internet has no closing time. Cruelty posted online is persistent (it stays), searchable (anyone can find it), and visible to an audience the sender never meets. The damage is not just in the words. It is in the fact that they do not go away.
- If you experience cyberbullying: screenshot the evidence, block the sender, and tell a trusted adult. Do not respond.
- Under Indian law (IT Act, Section 67), sending threatening or offensive messages electronically is a punishable offence.
