DigiLocker stores government-issued documents in digital form: marksheets, driving licences, vehicle registration, and more. The digital version has the same legal status as the original. You do not need to carry paper copies. You do not need to laminate anything.
- DigiLocker is free, run by the Government of India, and linked to your Aadhaar.
- Over 150 crore documents have been issued through DigiLocker. Schools, universities, and transport authorities use it.
