"password123" can be cracked in under one second. A random four-word phrase like "mango-train-cloud-seven" takes centuries. Length matters more than complexity. A password with 20 characters beats a password with 8 characters and special symbols, every time.

  • Do not use the same password for multiple accounts. If one account is breached, all of them are exposed.
  • A password manager stores and generates passwords for you. You only need to remember one.
