Indian law gives buyers six rights, including the right to be informed and the right to have problems fixed. If a product is faulty, you do not need a lawyer. File a complaint at the District Consumer Forum. There is no fee for claims under 5 lakh rupees. The law favours the buyer, but only if the buyer knows it exists.
